"I wonder what happened to Miss Alli?"
Miss Alli is a twelve-year-old girl who shot the rebel fighter in the foot. She was not charged with any offense because, at that point in time, she had not yet reached her eighteenth birthday. The defendant was charged with attempted murder and assault of a law enforcement officer. He was sentenced to 38 years in prison for his crimes.
This morning, Miss Alli posted on Facebook about how much she feels like an outcast after all this time waiting for her trial while she serves out her sentence in juvenile detention. Miss Alli has not yet turned eighteen.
"I have served over four years in jail so far," she wrote, "and I still have 18 years to go. I wore the same outfit for over four years. It was very comfortable."
